As someone who gets to call the Outer Banks home, I’ll let you in on something… the slower season is one of my favorite times to be here! The beaches are quieter, the pace slows down, and you get to experience a different side of the OBX with your favorite people.

One of my favorite ways to spend a fall evening on the Outer Banks? A little dip in the water followed by a bonfire on the beach with your favorite people! We love using Outer Banks Beach Fires because they make it so easy to show up, get cozy, and enjoy the night without worrying about all the setup.

The cooler fall air, the sound of the ocean, a warm fire, and good company… it’s such a simple thing, but it always ends up being one of those vacation nights you remember.

If you’re visiting the OBX this fall, add a beach bonfire to your list. ✨

One thing I love about the Outer Banks is that no matter what time of day it is, there’s always something to do. 🌊 Personally, my perfect day starts with a cup of coffee on the beach, followed by a slow morning on the porch. Then it’s off to explore with my favorite people, find somewhere good to eat, and see where the day takes us before heading back to the beach for sunset.
Not a bad way to spend a day if you ask me.

Around here, we’ll never be the ones to talk you out of an Outer Banks getaway! 🌾 A few days by the ocean, your own beach house to come home to, and nowhere you need to be sounds like a pretty good reason to start planning your next trip.

Few things make us happier than catching an Outer Banks sunset from the water with our kids. There’s a peacefulness in watching the sky change colors, the water grow still, and everyone simply enjoy being together that’s hard to find anywhere else.
