A one-night stay turned into an all-night reunion. ๐Ÿ’›

Two friends checked into the Eagleโ€™s Inn with laptops open, planning to talk business and get ready for the months ahead.

Needless to say, that plan didn't last long.

Next thing they knew โ€” sofa vibes, libations, and a walk downtown to support a Black-owned restaurant for dinner.

Then back to the room to stay up half the night, just talking. The way old friends do when they finally have the time to pause from life.

By breakfast, they werenโ€™t ready to leave.
Late checkout, easy. โœ…

Where do Innkeepers go when they want to relax? Wherever they'd like ๐Ÿคฉ.....This weekend we slipped away to Spartanburg and stayed with Paul & Pontheolla Mack Abernathy at the Clevedale Historic Inn. Great ambiance and breakfasts, wonderful grounds & and outdoor spaces, it provided the respite that we needed. We felt right at home and enjoyed the hospitality of our new Innkeeper friends.
