"What a throwback picture!" the Historical Society says about the Pamida post!

It makes me think that today's "new" will eventually become yesterday's history.

The places, businesses, events, and everyday moments we pass by without a second thought today may someday be cherished memories for future generations. Those who grew up in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s all remember Eagle River a little differently than those growing up in the 2020s, 2030s, and beyond.

That's one reason I appreciate the Eagle River Historical Society and the work they do preserving our past. It's also why I enjoy supporting Joel Clure of JC Media.

What if the photos and videos being captured today become the historical treasures of tomorrow?

Joel does bring a unique perspective from aerial drone footage that reveals views many of us never get to see, to cinematic ground-level storytelling using his gimbal equipment.

The memories we create today may become the stories future generations look back on tomorrow.
