The Landmark Trust USA’s five historic properties each sleep from 2 to 8 guests. Our properties are fully furnished, including well-equipped kitchens and bed and bath linens. All of our properties have WiFi and offer on-site or nearby access to an array of outdoor activities, from hiking to biking to cross-country skiing.

If you're a State of Vermont employee, you can make a one-time or simple payroll deduction to The Landmark Trust USA through the annual VtSHARES fundraising campaign, now in its 50th year! Since its inception the program has raised more than $11.5M for hundreds of Vermont nonprofits!

If you would like to participate, please see your department's campaign ambassador. Donations will be accepted through Monday November 9, 2026.

One of the greatest joys of staying at a Landmark is the opportunity to connect with people you love - in an unhurried environment away from the stressors of home. Getting together with your favorite people is also a highlight of Thanksgiving, so why not combine the two and spend next month's holiday at one of our beautiful Vermont retreats?

We currently have Thanksgiving availability at the two bedroom Kipling's Carriage House and new one bedroom Naulakha Stable. As they're just steps away from one another, you can also rent both for a larger gathering that still provides some privacy.
