We are so excited to offer our new and updated The Blue House, East Durham, NY (which we've been working on for 2 years now) for vacation rentals! It's across from our beloved shop, Guaranteed Irish/America's Largest Irish Import Shop!, on Route 145 in East Durham!
*Minimum 2 night stay.
**Also available for the week, month, summer season or ski season long-term rental!
We now have central air, Wifi, hardwood floors throughout, a brand new beautiful bathroom upstairs, all new pillow top mattresses, new sheets and bedding, everything freshly painted, new curtains and shades, motion lights all around the property, water softener system, a great new Weber Grill, beautiful new microsuede leather furniture in the main floor living room. Also, we offer a great variety of books for adults and children (relax and unwind!) and lots of family board games! Beautiful huge paved driveway with plenty of parking and a new tall privacy fence.
The entire house can be rented, both upstairs and downstairs or just one floor can be rented at a time. Each floor has its own entrance with separate coded lock (no need for keys!).
Two night minimum stay required. Perfect for families and large groups! 👨👩👧🌄
Each kitchen has a complimentary Keurig coffee maker and coffee and every stay gets a complementary basket of Irish food from Guaranteed Irish Shop! Yay!! Also, each floor has a 5 gallon dispenser of Vermont Pure water!
Downstairs/Main Floor:
3 bedrooms
2 rooms are queen and one has two twin beds.
Room to sleep 6.
Full eat in kitchen including new appliances and new dishwasher, living room and bath with shower.
Upstairs:
2 bedrooms each with a queen bed.
New beautiful bathroom with tub and shower.
Small living room and full eat in kitchen with new appliances.
Room to sleep 4.
*The top floor has its own entrance including a covered area out the back door with a bistro table set to enjoy morning coffee, evening cocktails and smoking (no smoking allowed in the house).
(If you love our beautiful hardwood floors and pretty walls reach out to my brother Colin Kelly who did all of the floors and the inside painting! He has had his own floor refinishing and install business (hardwood and tile) for 25 years all by referrals only! Does it all himself from start to finish and not a speck of dust afterwards!)
Huge backyard and side property as well for use including patio table and chairs, Weber grill, fire pit, and a newly finished he/she shed with bar, full lighting with dim switch, ceiling fans and beautiful custom made barn doors! It's a wonderful three season space big enough to host a nice sized party!
Located in the heart of East Durham across from Guaranteed Irish and Nellie's at 2213 Rt. 145.
Short walk to Our Lady of Knock Shrine, the MJQ Irish Cultural & Sports Centre, Lawyer's General Store, The Shamrock House and Five Furlongs. Located right across the street from Nellie's!! So when you don't feel like cooking, a wonderful meal, great coffee and cocktails are available just steps from the front door.
Flat screen Roku TV on each floor.

*Please note there is another property also called the Blue House that is new to town the last couple of years located across from Furlongs. This is not our property but is another property in town you can contact regarding renting!
East Durham is even better now with 2 blue houses for rent (how cool is that?!!) providing lovely accommodations! Our town just keeps getting better and better each year!
