What a storm we had last night! Being on hills is one of our best assets but also our worst nightmare! This morning we woke up to roads washed out and debris everywhere! Jim and I looked at each other and said “we are never going to get this cleared by tonight”. As you know it’s a holiday weekend and small businesses live and die by the weather! Jim called Josh and he said he would be there as soon as he could! So we started our cleanup and soon were joined by Gordy Hallof! The next thing we know the whole Turney family (Abby, Randy and all 3 boys) joined in. When we turned around again, there is the Gram family including their grandsons! So what started off as an impossible task turned into friends and family getting it done! Thanks to everyone that helped! This is what we love about what we do! Friends that have become family!

With the weather being 🥵 this week we we will open the pool on Tuesday noon until 5:00 and Wednesday noon until 7:00!

📣 COLUMBIANA COUNTY FAIR SUPPORTERS - I’M CHALLENGING YOU! 📣

Tonight, our Small Animal Auction is going to look very different this year. The date, time, and location have all changed, and I’ll be honest, I’m worried.

The auction has been moved away from the larger livestock sales and will be held TONIGHT at 5:30 PM in the Rabbit & Poultry Barn. Buyers can get their numbers beginning at 4:30 PM right there in the barn. There is no need to stop at the Sales Office and buyers can register and pay at the auction.

And here’s my challenge:
PROVE ME WRONG.

I’m afraid that with the change in location, the change in schedule, and no buyer tickets being sent out for tonight’s sale, our small animal exhibitors may not have the buyer support they deserve and that the sale prices could reflect it.

Don’t let that happen.

These 4-H members have put in just as much time, money, hard work, and dedication as any other exhibitor at this fair. Their projects deserve to be supported, their accomplishments deserve to be celebrated, and they deserve a strong audience in the seats tonight.

And because I want to make sure a serious buyer who is willing to support these kids isn’t kept away by the admission fee, if you are genuinely coming to buy and need help getting through the fair gate, I will pay your admission. Just private message me.

I’m challenging you to prove me wrong.
Let’s fill that barn. Let’s support these exhibitors. And let’s show them that small animals matter, too. ❤️🐰🐔

🎄🎅 Christmas in July is HERE at Big Arbs Campground! ☀️🎁

It's time to trade flip-flops for Santa hats and help us bring some Christmas cheer to the campground!

✨ Decorate your camper and get into the Christmas spirit! Campers will be judged Saturday afternoon, so pull out those lights, wreaths, inflatables, and all your favorite holiday decorations. We can't wait to see your creativity!

🎄 Saturday's Schedule:
🎲 3:00 PM – Bingo
🍬 4:30 PM – Candy Cane Hunt
🍰 6:30 PM – Dessert with Santa
🎁 8:30 PM – Adult-Only Gift Exchange (Please bring a wrapped gift valued at $20 or less.)

Whether you're hunting for candy canes, enjoying dessert with Santa, or showing off your festive campsite, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
