After 22 years of hard work, happy guests, countless meals, events and celebrations, we have made the difficult decision to place the Inn at Ship Bay property up for sale. We wanted you, our greater community, to hear of our decision straight from us.
This decision was the result of sleepless nights and careful contemplation. We love this land and the historic farmhouse we’ve stewarded over the decades. We treasure the people we’ve employed and who have become family to us. Finally, we are grateful for a community that has believed in us since we were a young couple with a dream and two pre-school aged kids in tow. Our plan is to live on Orcas, to enjoy time together and with our now adult children; also, to spend time with our parents/family/friends in other areas around the country.
Ship Bay is open for the 2024 season for both dining and lodging, and we would enjoy seeing you! Dinner reservations are available Wednesdays to Saturdays from 5 - 8pm or visit Ship Bay by booking a stay at the Inn, which is accepting reservations through the autumn.
Above all, we wish to acknowledge everyone’s support. We are thankful of everyone who has believed in us, and made the Inn at Ship Bay a true labor of love.
