TLDR: You asked for in‑room coffee that’s actually good (and not wasteful). Coulée Coffee solved it: plastic‑free EcoPour filters, ethically sourced beans, and an automated pour‑over system that tastes like a real cup and not “hotel coffee.” Even better? It’s roasted two blocks from our front door. And yes, our lobby Wonderstate “Oxbow Blend” stays. So, now you get two ways to start your day, your way.
That's right: WE HEARD YOU. You want the convenience of in-room coffee to start your mornings, and we get it. The problem? Hotel room coffee makers are the worst, the coffee is rarely a brew we want to drink, and the entire concept is far from environmentally-friendly. We've ruminated on this for some time, and after much consideration and taste-testing (for quality control, you know!) we're delighted to introduce our newest in-room amenity: Coulée Coffee!
Developed to solve what they call the “hotel coffee problem” (disappointing coffee, unnecessary plastic waste, and brewing systems that don’t always meet guests’ expectations for cleanliness) Coulée Coffee offers a system that's easy to use, and has an automated pour-over experience with plastic-free single servings, all-paper EcoPour filters, and ethically-sourced coffee. And even better, their coffee is roasted right here in Eau Claire, two blocks from our front door; it just doesn't get any more local than that.
We love and will continue offering our in-lobby coffee service with our custom-crafted "Oxbow Blend" brew by Wonderstate Coffee, so our guests will have twice the opportunities to enjoy a fresh cup, their way.
