🎃👻 WHAT A NIGHT! Thank you for making our Halloween celebration one for the record books! 👻🎃
Our campers and community completely blew us away this weekend. Between our campground being 3/4 full and over 100–150 visitors joining in on the fun, the energy was unreal—and best of all, safe, smooth, and full of smiles from start to finish!
From Trunk-or-Treat and warm chili by the community bonfire, to spooky movies on the big screen, pumpkin painting, and our young anglers customizing their very own tackle boxes with stickers, there was non-stop fun all evening long. 🎣🎨🍿
Of course, the undisputed highlight was the hayride out to… MYSTERY CAMPSITE #37.
Now, regulars know we only have 36 sites. But after our last big flood, Site #37 mysteriously appeared out of the swamp waters—complete with a creepy resident, his skeleton, and glowing red eyes through the fog! The remote-control alligator sneaking through the water gave everyone a good scare (and the kids couldn't get enough of it)! 🐊👀💨
🏆 A huge congratulations to our contest winners:
Best Dressed, Best Painted Pumpkin, Best Decorated Campsite!
A massive thank you to our Camp Host's, County Parks Dept. staff, and everyone who spent the week and weekend helping us deck out the entire park—and a special shoutout to Nate for working all week and all night alongside our incredible camp families to make this happen.
We heard your requests loud and clear: start prepping your courage now, because next year we’re adding a Haunted Trail! 🌲👣
