Standing in the fire circle during the BIPOC Takeover at Playthink, I felt the beauty of being a proud Bi-Racial Black Woman in my fullest expression, my creativity, my body, my culture, my joy, my story. Thank you Jon Brown for organizing this opportunity! May we continue creating spaces where our voices, our art, and our presence are celebrated and recognized. I honor the ancestors who came before me, the ones who dreamed, the ones who survived, the ones who fought for freedom, and the woman standing right here now... shining without fear. There is not just fire in my hands… there is fire in my lineage and a resilient flame carried through generations. 🔥✨
