Good morning from Whitmer! Happy Homecoming! If you’re coming today, read this! ⬇️

We had a really great opening night! After the rain cooled everything off, we had 5 teams come play co****le, the kids had a couple hours in the bounce house, Mona fed us, and the Pretty sippin trailer got settled in and definitely made a good first impression!

Now, let’s talk about today! 🤩

🛞 The Mountain State Street Machines group is on their way to help with the car show - rain or shine! Parking from 8-10, show 10-2:30, and winners announced at 2:30!

🛍️ Vendors will be here starting at 10! They’ll be set up near the Homecoming tent and the church! Vendors - if you try to contact me and it goes straight to voicemail, I’m already in town!

🌭 Food + Drink starts as early as 10! The FD chicken burn is at the FD - food trucks are parked around the corner of Laurel Ave!

🎶 Music starts at 10 and goes all day!

🏰 Kids’ zone and bounce houses (yes, two bounce houses!) open at 12! We’ve rented a huge bounce house from Third Street Rentals and we think everyone is gonna love it! Kids’ zone arm bands will be $10 for all day play!

🎟️ The Homecoming tent will be open 10-8! That’s where you’ll find our raffles, auctions, tee shirts, + keychains. You’ll also get your kids’ zone arm bands there!

🚒 Fireman’s parade starts at 3:30! We’ll have some of our Miss Horton-Whitmer Homecoming queens riding through, so keep your eyes peeled for these beautiful ladies!
