The wind took two trees down on Sunday. Today, shortly before 3 PM our power went out… on such a calm day. Yep, another tree, this time in the woods, but fell the wrong direction!

Such a nice wind came through on Sunday (6/14/26) and brought a couple of trees down, one onto the driveway, and another one in the yard. Fortunately and thankfully no one was near the trees and no damage to buildings or vehicles.

Many thanks to our neighbor, Bob, our son-in-law and two of our grandsons, we managed to get most of it cleaned up and the driveway open! Once I get the new chain and a sharpener, we’ll attempt to make it pretty again!

We even made it on WPXI news Sunday night!

Pat & I want to express our gratitude for all of you that have reacted, commented, sent cards, messages, texts, calls, etc. visited or attended the funeral service. She was a special lady and she touched a lot of lives in a humble quiet way over her 98 years on this earth. It was such a blessing to have some of her great grandchildren (and our some of our grandchildren) sing at her service directed by our son-in-law, the talented Kirk Haberman. This Memorial Day is one that will be remembered. Please pray for Pat and our family as her mom, Marian Dambach who many of you met while visiting us and knew how she loved doing the laundry went home to be with our Lord this morning around 11 AM. More details to follow.
