Good food. Great people. Even better memories.

Our Hidden Haven Community Cookout was one for the books!

From sharing a meal and playing games to relaxing under the pavilion and watching the kids make new friends, it was a beautiful reminder of what camping is really about—community, connection, and making memories together.

THANK YOU to everyone who brought a dish, joined the fun, shared a laugh, or simply spent the afternoon with us.

These are the moments that make Hidden Haven more than a campground. They make it feel like home.

30 AMP vs. 50 AMP: What’s the Difference?

If you're new to RV camping, those little numbers can be confusing.

Here's the simple version:

30 AMP — Provides up to 3,600 watts of power. Great for smaller RVs and basic electrical needs.

50 AMP — Provides up to 12,000 watts of potential power through two 50-amp, 120V legs. It’s ideal for larger RVs running multiple appliances at once.

Think of it this way:

30 AMP = “I’ve got what I need.”
50 AMP = “Turn it all on!”

Camping tip: Always check your RV's electrical requirements before booking a site—and make sure you have the appropriate connection for your RV.
