This past weekend, my friend Eli and I spent two nights at Hayes Meadows in the Marble Mountains, nearly ten years after his father Kevin Rickey passed away there. It was Eli's first overnight stay since. I wrote about friendship, a fire we kept going for Kevin, and a place that holds so much loss and so much love.
