The Market is getting spooky with a little Halloween tradition with a touch of superstition!
Haunted Market is back at 5th Street Public Market and we’re ready for all the Halloween fun.
Each year, the departments at Inn at the 5th go head-to-head in an annual pumpkin carving contest, with guests voting for their favorite creation. Last year’s winning pumpkin came from our Housekeeping team, featuring a spooky Room 13.
But did you know Inn at the 5th follows a long-standing building tradition of skipping the number 13? Rooted in the superstition that 13 brings bad luck, many hotels and buildings skip the 13th floor or room number altogether. At Inn at the 5th, you won’t find a Room 13 — except, of course, in our pumpkin carving contest!
