Antoine (no last name provided), who hails from Arkansas, landed a limit of Beaver Lake tailwater walleye while fishing with Busch Mountain Fishing Guide Robert Kennedy earlier this week. Robert’s brother, Austin Kennedy, reports this week in the Fishing Report that walleye fishing remains productive from the Beaver town area upstream toward Holiday Island. His tip for success: Don’t be afraid this time of year to speed up your presentation. Present those walleye with soft plastics jigged or a crankbait trolled in about 15 feet of water. And just like the trout bite on the Beaver tailwater (and probably everywhere else in Arkansas with this constant heat), the most productive periods have come early in the morning or late in the evening.
