A comfortable, fully equipped lodge in the heart of pheasant country. Perfect for hunting groups, family stays, and rural getaways.

The lodge is 2000 square feet all one level. It is spacious and open and we have many amenities for your convenience. We rent to hunters in the fall but year round for all occasions. Families, wedding parties, graduations, construction crews, etc. We are located only a mile and a half from Eureka, where you can pick up food, drinks or buy gifts for friends at home. Eureka also has mechanics, medic

The Schultz Crew wrapped up an incredible hunt this week and WOW did they put in the work!
These guys were an absolute blast to host, brought the best energy, and absolutely cleaned up out in the field. So many pheasants, so many laughs, and just an all-around unforgettable few days at the lodge.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Mark, Richard, and Mark’s two sons for their recent South Dakota goose hunt — and they completely melted our hearts by featuring The Hideout Lodge in their latest vlog! 🪶🏡

Watching them enjoy time together in the field and seeing our little lodge through their eyes was the best thing. Their laughter, the camaraderie, and those early-morning hunting scenes perfectly capture what we love most about this place — good people, great memories, and a true love of the outdoors.

They are excited to be the new owners of The Hideout and anxious to meet all of my existing customers.

I am soooo grateful for the many years of faithful patrons who I now call "family"
I will miss you all dearly. but hope to be able to visit you one last time when you come for your hunt this fall.
