Union Colony Marines Detachment 1093 The next scheduled SOS meeting of the Detachment is at 0800 on Saturday, October 15th at the Moose Lodge in Evans, Colorado.

y effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all past and present Marines, FMF Navy Corpsmen, FMF Navy Chaplains and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.

The Union Colony Marines Honor Guard had the duty at Fort Logan National Cemetery today. We had seven veteran funerals. One USMC, one USAF, two USN, and three USArmy. It was a blistering hot day and the Guard paid a heavy price to get through the day. But as always an honorable experience for the Guard. I had a dual role for the ritual as my partner, Clem was absent. Special thanks to our Det Commandant Joe Meilinger for getting me to and from the cemetery

The Union Colony Marines Honor Guard had the duty at Fort Logan National Cemetery today. It was hot but we had only three military funerals; one USArmy, one USNavy and one USAF. Detail consisted of: Anderson, Balltrip Jacobsen, Maj, Meilinger, Schuette, Stevens, Stolpa, and Wright.
