My church back in 1972, the year I was born, and today. I still can't believe she is mine now. 🤗🩷🙏🏽
Former East Run Methodist Church, Farmington, WV 💙💛

It's National 4-H Week and today is Go Green Day. 🍀 This picture is taken inside my Heavenly Haven WV Airbnb that was the former East Run Methodist Church. I just found out that it is the 2nd site of the very first 4-H camps in Marion county. In 1918 and 1919, it was held for the first time near White day. In 1920 it was canceled due to a polio outbreak. In 1921, 1922 and1923, it was held in my yard. I cried when I found out this information. Fun fact.. the yard did not originally belong with the church. When I was purchasing it, I discovered that the yard actually belonged to someone else and that the current owners actually built the new septic system on someone else's property. They were able to locate the owner and he agreed to sell it to me. So I am the very first owner of the church and the land in front of it. I'm looking forward to one day hosting a one night council circle and tent camping like they did back then.

My guests, staying at Heavenly Haven WV, sent me pictures of my Airbnb in the snow last night on New Year's Eve. They attended the pepperoni roll drop in Mannington and visited my favorite tea shop, BerTeas, while there! ❤️
