Our Grandpa Bill is quite the guy,
The kind who never just sits by.
Owner of Eagle Lake Lodge with pride,
Always working, far and wide.

If something breaks, he’s on the case,
Moving faster than a man should at his age. 😉
He’ll lend a hand, he’ll give his time,
And somehow make hard work look fine.

He’s generous beyond belief, it’s true,
He’d give away the shirt he’s wearing too.
Though Grandma might say, "Hold on, Bill!"
He’s helping somebody somewhere still.

He cruises the resort in his trusty golf cart ride,
Like a king with Eagle Lake as his countryside.
No traffic laws seem to apply in his mind—
Just finger wave and smile and leave the dust behind.

He loves a good steak, cooked just right,
And LTD beverages into the night.
If there's food and family near,
You can bet Grandpa Bill is full of cheer

And while most folks would slow down a bit,
Grandpa Bill says, "Nope, I'm not done yet."
Still volunteering with the fire department crew,
Helping his neighbors like heroes do.

So this Father’s Day, we want to say,
We’re thankful for you in every way.
For the laughs, the love, and all that you do,
Grandpa Bill, there’s nobody quite like you.

Happy Father’s Day to our favorite Bill—
Though sitting still? We know you never will! 🚒🎣⛳🥩❤️

☀️ MEET YOUR NEW MANAGERS FOR 2026 ☀️

Alex, Morgan, Cora, and Spencer Steege will be the new faces at the resort this summer.
Morgan is the granddaughter of Bill and Carolyn and has spent time every summer at Eagle Lake Lodge. Cora and Spencer have been fortunate to continue that luxury and are looking forward to a summer of being “lake kids.”
They know they have big shoes to fill but can’t wait to connect with everyone who loves the lake as much as they do! Here’s to Summer 2026!

We want to take a minute to thank Jeff and Lisa for all the years of hard work and dedication they provided for Eagle Lake Lodge. We congratulate them on their next adventure, but they will surely be missed! Join us in thanking them and wishing them well!
