We’ll welcome you Friday evening with w**e and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a chance to meet your fellow guests and toast the weekend.

Saturday’s festivities begin at 5 p.m. at the Thorp House Inn with ch*****ne, charcuterie, and seasonal music played by a live guitarist. Tour the inn dressed for the holidays while we share its history, beginning with Freeman and Jessie Thorp, who built the house in 1903.

Then, bundle up for a horse-drawn carriage ride past Fish Creek’s holiday-decorated homes and businesses to the White Gull. Innkeepers and staff will welcome you for tours and stories before dinner and dessert, accompanied by a live harpist. Altogether, Saturday evening features five courses with w**e pairings, and plenty of time to enjoy each one.

Planning your weekend:
• Progressive Dinners are open to weekend guests of the Thorp House Inn & Cottages or the White Gull Inn.
• At Thorp House, the event includes Friday’s welcome reception and Saturday’s mixer and dinner.
• The cost is your regular room or cottage rate, plus $148 per person for dinner, plus taxes.
• A two-night minimum stay is required.
