The Lake View at Bear Lake

11/01/2026

🎉 **PLOT TWIST… WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!** 🏡❤️

A little while ago, we shared that we had made the difficult decision to close The Lake View at Bear Lake to vacation rentals and we shut down our calendar.

Well, after giving it a lot of thought, **we've had a change of heart!**

We realized we didn't want to stop sharing our home with the wonderful families who have made memories here over the years. What we really wanted was more control over how we operate our rental and the experience we provide our guests.

**So, we're doing things a little differently!**

🏡 **WE'RE GOING 100% DIRECT!**

We've officially reopened our booking calendar! Moving forward, The Lake View at Bear Lake will be available exclusively through our website — no more Airbnb, Vrbo, or third-party booking platforms.

💰 **LOWER RATES, MORE SAVINGS!**

Booking platforms charge hosts substantial fees, sometimes as much as 15.5%, that we've had to factor into our pricing.

By eliminating those costs, we're able to **lower our nightly rates and pass the savings directly to our guests!**

❤️ **SAME HOME. SAME COMMITMENT.**

If you know us, you know how much pride we take in our property and the experience we provide. Going direct gives us more freedom to communicate, share local events and recommendations, and provide the personalized experience we've always wanted for our guests.

**Our commitment to quality, cleanliness, and making your stay memorable isn't changing.**

📅 **OUR CALENDAR IS OFFICIALLY OPEN!**

Whether you're planning a family reunion, summer vacation, or a weekend getaway, we'd love to welcome you back!

👉 **BOOK DIRECT & SAVE:**

To everyone who has stayed with us, supported us, or recommended our home to others — THANK YOU! We're excited for this next chapter and can't wait to welcome more families to Bear Lake! ❤️

We are just finishing up our summer season at https://www.facebook.com/theLakeViewatBearLake/ We had another successful season for year 3, ending with all 5 star reviews.
***We do NOT ask our guests to leave a specific rating for their review. We DO ask for reviews because we want to know how we are doing and how we can improve.
***We do not charge extra fees, we cover part of our cleaning costs and we have a 4 point checkout process which includes locking doors, closing windows and turning off propane tanks. We want our guests to feel on vacation to the very end.
***We are owner operated and visit the property 1-2x a month during busy season to ensure that the home is up to our standards and expectations.
And as a result, we get fantastic reviews and have been full every summer season.
But why wait for summer of '25 when you can enjoy the fall and the surrounding colors, go ATV'ing or sitting by the fire pit taking in the views.
