Dear Patrons,

We ARE open for camping! For camping reservations please TEXT your reservation info to (605)237-6093 or email us directly at [email protected]. Please include your name, number of spots needed, if those spots are 50 or 30amp required or a tent site, whether you’re looking for a rental camper, and the dates of your intended stay.

Our rates are as follows:
$35/night
$225/week
$600/month
$2,400/season with dry docking during off season
Rental campers are available for $75/night and come fully stocked with fresh linens each stay, toilet paper, and paper towels. You need only provide your toiletries and food for your stay.

All sites are full hookups.

Long-term sites are on the north side of our office and around our community center. Short term and our rental campers are located on the south side of the office.

Our bounce house park is not yet up and running for the season, due to staffing, but will be up and running soon. Same with our concession stand. The rest of our rec area is operational.

Dry Lake Park and Rec, LLC. is up for sale in it’s entirety (including the bounce houses, fire truck, concession stand, 1,300sq.ft. caretakers quarters {complete with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, and kitchen [one of the bedrooms and bathrooms is a master suite with walk-in closet]}, three rental campers, community center, stage, etc.) for $699.9k but will run as usual until the sale is made; afterwards it is up to the new owners to decide how it behaves. It has been a joy to serve you as owners of Dry Lake Park and Rec, LLC. This was my late dad’s retirement plan and we see him in everything out here. That makes it difficult to be here with the grief we still feel at his loss. He is everywhere. This was his dream and he was here until the day cancer wouldn’t let him be anymore. We miss him everyday. He would remind us in his final months, “This was my dream. If it’s not yours, that’s okay.” Now it’s time for someone else to live out their dreams of owning and operating a campground. We hope that his memory can stay alive through this place, for many years to come, bringing joy to families like he loved and built it to do.

Thank You to Jim Clark for his years of service and dedication to this campground and my late father. We wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.

We DO have camping spots still available for this weekend! No rental campers available; they’re already rented out. Come stay with us 😃
If you stay with us, our park and rec area is complimentary during your stay! $35/night or $225/week; 50 and 35 amp availability. We do have monthly rates as well for long-term stays.

We are across the highway from Dry Lake. Public access is just down the road.
We have aquatic bounce houses.
On site laundromat.

Thank You everyone for your feedback! We will be open after school hours, from 4pm-7pm starting this Thursday, August 28th. Admission will be $3.

Megan has follow-up appointments from her hospitalization Monday-Wednesday and may not get back from Sioux Falls in time to open those days. She will post if she’s able to open any of those days.

We will also be open Saturday, August 30th, and September 6th, from noon to 8pm. Admission will be $6. Heads up, there is a VERY large event September 6th, so the park will be very busy.

September 6th will be our last Saturday for bounce houses.

OPEN DAYS ARE ALL WEATHER PERMITTING. Temps below 60F, winds above 25mph gusts (we take our own measurements as our wind is often different since we are wide open), hail, heavy rain, or lightning/thunder are all reasons to lower our bounce houses.

We are thankful for all of the kind words and prayers, as well as the donations to the memorial for Megan’s dad, our late founder, Nathan Peters.
