🏕️ HELP US PLAN OUR 2027 THEME WEEKENDS! 🎉

We’re already starting to think about next camping season, and we want YOUR ideas!

As new campground owners, we’re always looking for fun ways to make your stay at Keyes Lake Campground even more memorable. We know theme weekends are a big part of camping, and while there are always the classics like 🎃 Halloween Weekend and 🎄 Christmas in July, we’d love to hear about some of the other fun weekends and activities you’ve experienced at campgrounds over the years.

What was a theme weekend you absolutely LOVED?
What activities made it fun?
Or is there something you’ve always thought would make a great campground weekend?

A few ideas we’ve already been tossing around:

🍻 Adults-Only Weekend — We love the kiddos, but this weekend would be for the grown-ups! 😉
🏆 Yard Game Tournament Weekend — Bags, ladder toss, and more
⛳ Mini Golf Tournament Weekend — We have the course… might as well find out who the campground champion is!
🎬 Movie Nights
🌮 Food Truck Weekends

But we know there are SO many fun ideas out there, and we want to hear yours!

Maybe it’s a decade weekend, a chili cook-off, a campground Olympics, a murder mystery, a poker run, a scavenger hunt, a luau… or something we haven't even thought of yet!

🍁 FALL IS ALMOST HERE IN THE NORTHWOODS! 🍂

One of the most beautiful times of the year is right around the corner! Current predictions are pointing toward late September into the first week of October for some of the best fall color here in Florence County — with September 28 through October 4 looking like a great bet for peak or near-peak color. 🍁🌲

If you’ve never experienced fall in northern Wisconsin, this is the perfect excuse for a getaway!

🛻 Hit the ATV/UTV trails surrounded by brilliant fall colors
🥾 Take a hike through the Northwoods
💦 Explore some of our beautiful area waterfalls
🍂 Enjoy a scenic drive through Florence County
🔥 Then come back to the campground and relax around the campfire!

September 21–27 should already be bringing plenty of beautiful color, with the show getting even better as we head toward the end of September and beginning of October.

And remember — Keyes Lake Campground has direct access to the ATV/UTV trails, making us a great home base for your fall Northwoods adventure!
