Though you'd never know it from the quiet country setting, the campground is convenient to the city services of Forsyth and a host of regional attractions. Happy , campers!

This week, we're heading to the Hoosier State’s Land of 101 Lakes. This campground is a lakeside retreat, perfectly positioned off the longest road in the U.S. This is year-round camping at its finest, whether you're here to stay or just passing through.

The amenities list at this campground is long. Like, really long. We're talking four playgrounds, co****le, volleyball, and basketball. A pristine private sandy beach. A dock for fishing and boating. Even a fish cleaning station! You could easily spend your entire trip exploring what's available right onsite. And with hundreds of campsites to choose from, every type of camper finds their perfect spot. Pro tip: if you’re bringing your four-legged camper, be sure to check out this KOA’s Paw Pen Sites.

Need to venture off-property? The campground's namesake town is just 5 miles away. Plus, you're less than three hours from Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis, making this the ideal home base or convenient stopover for any road trip.

So... which KOA is this? Drop your best guess in the comments below! We'll reveal the answer tomorrow. Good luck!

While KOAs offer a consistent basecamp across North America, the landscapes surrounding them are entirely unique. Take, for instance, our northernmost and southernmost campgrounds.

Up near the Arctic Circle, Fairbanks / Chena River KOA in North Pole, Alaska, sits right along the Chena River. It’s the ultimate basecamp for spotting moose and eagles, exploring the tundra, and witnessing the breathtaking Aurora Borealis.

Travel nearly 5,000 miles southeast, and you’ll trade the tundra for paradise at the Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Resort in the Florida Keys. Here, warm ocean waters, sunny beaches, and iguanas take center stage.

North, South, East, or West, from the pine trees to the palms, there's a KOA waiting for you. ☺️⛺️🌲🌴

It's time for , campers!

Combine prehistoric finds with all the benefits of modern camping at this week's KOA. Strategically located near Route 191, this campground is the perfect pit stop for Western road trippers.

The campground's variety of RV sites accommodates everyone, from the van lifers to the motorhome enthusiasts. Choose from pull-thru, back-in, or KOA Patio sites and spend less time setting up and more time relaxing. No RV? No problem. Stay in a ultra-comfy Deluxe Cabin or a classic tent site.

The area is known for its abundance of dino finds. Under 20 miles away is Dinosaur National Monument, where you can see over 1,500 fossils on exposed cliff face. Other state parks in the area provide boating and fishing with views of dinosaur tracks along the way. After you've channeled your inner paleontologist, camp is a welcome respite. Challenge your fellow campers to a game of horseshoes or giant jenga, cool off in the pool, or take in a movie under the stars.

The question is - what KOA are we talking about? Comment your best guess below! The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's comments.

NEW NAME. SAME GREAT SMILES.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Forsyth KOA Journey is becoming Forsyth Station RV Resort. While our name is changing, everything you love about staying here isn't. You'll still see the same owners, the same friendly team, and the same commitment to making every stay a great one.

WHY?

As owners of multiple campgrounds, we've found that operating independently gives us more flexibility to make decisions that benefit our guests. It allows us to continue improving the park while creating a consistent experience across all of our properties. We're grateful for our years with KOA and excited for this next chapter as Forsyth Station RV Resort.

HERE IS WHAT'S CHANGING!

We are sure most of you know we have propane refill here at Forsyth KOA Journey, it will still be here when our name change to Forsyth Station RV Resort. We will do propane for any of our guests that need it between 9:00AM and 5:00PM daily. For those who are not guest of the park, but still need a propane refill, we can do that also. However there is a difference in the hours...if you need your RV refilled (Class A, B, and C) we can do that easily for you from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. If all you need is your propane tanks filled (i.e. 20lb, 30lb, 50lb, 100lb) we can do that 9:00AM to 5:00PM for you. The limitation of when we can do the refills is due to our incoming RVs. All propane tanks we refill must be upright and and secured, per Federal Regulations. If you need us to pass some gas to you, come and see us and we will do it 😀.
