Say hello to the one and only Apache! 🤎

Apache is our wrangler Derek’s favorite horse. When we asked Derek to describe him, his response was simple: “Apache’s perfect.” 😂 If you’ve ridden with us, you probably already know that!

Apache has a big personality and is definitely one of the horses that stands out around here. Being one of the few paints in our herd makes him a little easier to pick out on the trail, too!

We think Derek might be a little biased, but we’ll let you be the judge. 😉

"FVR was an OUTSTANDING experience! We luckily got in on a same-day booking on the last ride of the day. Everyone at the ranch was extremely welcoming, the check-in process was seamless, our guide (Nicole) gave concise and helpful instructions overall to the group and additional tips to each person based on their assigned horse. Nicole checked in on each person throughout the trail and gave a heads up to steep or tricky parts ahead. The staff offered to take photos on our personal phones, which seems small but was actually a very nice perk. We lucked out with a great group of fellow riders and perfect weather. The experience was 10/10 - simply amazing."

Meet Ben! 🐴

Ben is our only Mustang here at the Ranch, originally from Nevada! Because Ben is a mustang, has a freeze brand on his neck that tells us where he came from!

He loves to smile for the camera, and his best friend is Hank, the Haflinger you’ll see beside him in most pictures.

If you’ve ridden Ben before, you know he’s in no hurry! He likes to take his time and is a very cautious guy.

Meet Chub!🐴

Also known as Chubs or Chubby! You can easily recognize Chub by the “CB” brand on his left hip.

He loves to snack on and off the trail (hence the name) and somehow can hear a snack wrapper from a mile away 😂 He has LOTS of personality and is very nosey.

And if you ask our wrangler, Jemma, Chubs is her favorite horse.

He's been part of our family for a while,
