Choices Seminars Texas Choices transforms lives by helping people break through barriers and step boldly into their purpose. Thelma Box is the creator and founder of Choices Seminars.

Years spent in successful real estate, hotel, and insurance businesses left her wondering why employees and friends practiced behaviors that were self-defeating. Many times, she witnessed her business acquaintances and friends having financial successes yet they walked through lives as walking breathing dead. Thelma Box had a dream for people to use the tools she practiced in business to assist people in living their lives with clarity and passion. Thirty years ago Choices began as a dream and is still a reality. Participants leave Choices with a commitment to lives filled with joy, passion, peace and abundance. A group of dedicated facilitators and volunteers, Choices lives with the commitment to transform lives ----one heart at a time.

Life's real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up. It may just be one step away!!!

We make choices everyday. We can choose to see all the bad around us and dwell on that to make ourselves miserable OR we we can choose to see on the good around us and find value in every situation giving us more peaceful happy days! Which will you choose today?

Think about your attitude and actions...How much value are they bringing to the situation? ..The relationship? ..Your Life?? Is your attitude and actions bringing you closer to what you would like more of?

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.

Our relationships work when communication works; Communication works when we hear the words being spoken. When it becomes just as important for us to listen as it is for us to speak. When we truly listen, we can begin to understand each other. It takes more than merely listening with your ears, you have to listen with your heart.

When we do many things at once, rushing through, we rarely do anything that leaves a mark. But when we do one thing with full presence, people feel it, we feel it and it makes a difference

Procrastination increases stress. As things pile up, I begin to feel overwhelmed. This takes the joy out of my work and my life. Bottom line: Procrastination is costly to all involved.

Love is not one fruit among many in the sense that it is just another nice quality to add to our character. Love is the soil where the rest of the fruit grows. Joy without love becomes shallow. Peace without love becomes self-protection. Patience without love becomes tolerance without tenderness. But when love is present, everything else has a place to grow.

Most people hit a wall and start questioning everything. Winners hit the same wall but ask different questions. They don’t ask, “why is this happening to me?” - they ask, “what is this teaching me?”
