One of our upcoming guests reached out to confirm her reservation. We talked for 40 minutes about our respective connections to the town of Franconia and the joy the community brings us both.
For me, it's been since 1984 when I became a resident and a student of the local school. I recall the "before" road that went through the Notch and, of course, the Old Man for which my high school was named. For her, it was a tad later and she was a regular guest from Connecticut. She recalled her resident family members who were welcomed to town with open arms. Nice work Franconia!
She's looking forward to her stay; we're looking forward to hosting her.
