I am jumping for joy because we just had 2 campsites open up for the 4th of July weekend at Hankerd’s Horseshoe Lake Campground!

That means a couple more of you get to join us for a fun holiday weekend celebration, including:
Pancake breakfast
Bocce tournament
American history storytelling and trivia around the campfire
Sunday Mass in the woods

Tonight we have Wine in the Woods on our schedule, but because of the chill in the air, we are moving to the garage (pole barn). Help us come up with a new name for tonight's event.

It's a sad week at the campground, as we say goodbye to more than just your campground host for the last few years. Pat assisted in most of the planning and decision making as we started this great adventure. One of his favorite things was taking our guests on golf cart rides to tour the campground. He will be forever missed, and always appreciated.

Another special delivery at the campground this weekend, and we added nearly 30 new trees around the campsites. So excited for next week's opening.

1 week until opening day! The work crew came up from Owosso and is taking a break and trying a new restaurant across from Otsego Lake.

🌲 This time last year...
The sites were empty, the bathhouse was fresh, and the woods were just waking up from winter.
A few weeks later? Full campground. Happy campers. Dogs welcome on the trails.
