Freeport Oyster Festival Information!
The big day is tomorrow! We'll be ready for you to start slurping at 10 am. A few frequently ask questions:
Can dogs come? 🐕 Freeport is one of the dog-friendliest towns in Maine and The Maine Oyster Festival is just as welcoming. Please be sure that your bestie is ready for being close to other leashed dogs and lots of people. 🐾
What are the tickets for? 🎫 One ticket = One raw oyster 🦪 at any of the farms or festival shucking locations. One ticket is $3. The tickets are available at booth 54 on the Festival map! Cash or any major credit card accepted.

🚗 Where should I park? One of our pro tips is that the parking garage at Freeport Village Station has 500 covered parking spots - all free! To make parking and arriving at the Festival even more convenient we also provide a free shuttle service.
🚌 The free parking for the free shuttle is located at L.L.Bean Corporate Headquarters at Route 1 and Casco Street. The shuttles will run 8 am - 7 pm on Saturday, 8 am - 6 pm on Sunday. Our shuttles are free, fast and easy. They also accommodate wheelchairs.
What else is there to do other than eating oysters? 🚣🏌️🐮🧘🎞️ 🦀🥾On the Festival site and next door at L.L.Bean Flagship Store campus, where Summer in the Park is in full-swing, you'll find free musical performances & movies, Tidepool Tim's touch tank, free crafts for kids, free yoga & strength classes and so much more. Around town there are all sorts of special events and deals in the stores & restaurants. Plus, we have two State Parks, a town-owned beach, the working waterfront and boat trips (including oyster farm tours), a world-class collection of breweries & tasting rooms, tons of great walking trails and conservation areas, Desert of Maine, Wolfe's Neck Center, Maine Golf's Alexa Re Rancourt Golf Learning Center and Pineland Farms.
