An amazing crop of huge, delicious Waldron apples this year. We give many away to friends and guests but have plenty left for the "Overnight Apple French Toast." A specialty that is often requested at the B&B.

Happy Labor Day 2018!
Hope your weekend was as fun as ours. Friends from Seattle booked the entire house and brought their mom, children and their friends. The weather was perfect so they spent lots of time hiking, shopping and even playing games in the parlor. One day they rented scoot coups and a scooter to cruise the island.

It's not unusual for guests to leave something behind in their room after checking out. Important items get mailed back. Other items (use your imagination here) just get tossed. Recently we noticed an odd odor from a room but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Upon closer inspection Roxy found a rather large piece of driftwood under the bed! Guess they'll have to come back and find another piece at South Beach.

The fence is done and won't have to be rebuilt again next year.
