This weeks rain helped the water situation quite a bit. The timber hole is about 40% covered. The new hole up front absorbed all the rain we got. Water structure in place and seed on the ground. All we need now is some rain and some ducks

Camp is earning its name this weekend. While the ground is dry there are “spots where it’s soft and we typically find them just about every time.

Jake and his dad took a nice turkey on the opener this past weekend. They have scored on the opener and Juvenile the past 3 or 4 years. Muddy Bottoms always has some really good turkey hunting

Back in a year when we had high water. After 3 recent seasons with low water we are ready for a flood this fall and winter.

This was taken in 2019 when Hank was just a young pup. It was a higher water year and we stayed flooded over half of the season
