GOOD evening from the old trail inn. The new owners are suppose to arrive tomorrow all the way from Arlington Texas. I hope you will all welcome then and help them to get started off on the right foot Beth and l are overwhelmed by the thank yous from all thefriends we made over the20 years we were down there. I don't know where the time went. Beth and I figured up the other day that we served over400000 meals made over15000 beds cleaned over15000 showers and l greated over600000 people off the train besides maintain the place mowing and trimming planting all the flowers and Beth wouldcome home and fix supper just to relax. Then do paper work. No dought we had excellent people to help us. So please help the people coming in and treat them with the kindness that you gave us. Haven't done a post for a good while. Everything is going fine on the transfer from us to new owners. They will be moved up here the1st or22nd of March and hope to be open by April1. They need your help as they haven't done this before. They are fine people. They are taking reservations for the campground and rooms now. Beth and l are doing fine and yes I still have the splint on my arm and hand from the fall I took Dec 2 2016. A long time to heal. After2 operations. Hope everyone is having a terrific day and winter is getting shorter. God Bless and God Bless the USA.

Good morning from Jonn and Beth Sayler former owners of The Trail Inn. We sold the property to Virginia Holcomb of Arlington Texas formally from the Frostburg area. Her and her husband plan to get open in later March running the bed and Breakfast and campground Cafe. They are a fine couple and need your help gettingthe business off and going again. Thanks so much for the support that you gave us for20 years. Still have my wrist in a splint from the fall in Dec 1916. Maybe get it off in6 more weeks. Just depends on the healing. Good afternoon from the Trail inn campground cafeand shuttle service for the last time as owners. We have sold the property to some people from Texas. They are going to operate it pretty well the same way with their own touches to it. Beth and I have a lot of good memories from the visitors that we have had over the years. I still have to have some minor operations and will be in better health. It has been a long year health wise. I still have my beautiful wife that has taken good care of me. She has had to knock me around some times to get my attention that I can't do that. She is just terrific. I will still be on Facebook once in awhile to let you know what is going on. Will miss you all. Hope everyone has a terrific New Year and God Bless and God Bless the USA.

Good morning from the Trail Inn. Cloudy day but a Chance of snow for Christmas. Not many bike riders sure do miss being down at the lnn and seeing people. Still have my arm in a splint. Now have cataracts being taken off. Have 4 more minor operations after first of year. Maybe then I will be in good shape. Hope everyone has a terrific Christmas. Good afternoon from the Trail inn Shuttle Service in Frostburg. Snowing right now and expecting3 to 6 inches. Sure is beautiful. Have a doctor's appointment in Cumberland and miss Emma Christmas show she is our3 year old granddaughter. Expect anything as she has done this last year. The little kids are just terrific. Good evening from the Trail inn Shuttle Service in Frostburg. Been Such a beautiful day here and warm for this timeof the year. Was a beautiful day for biking or hiking alone the Trail. Ran into an old biker friend that used to come up about every week. I sure do miss the people coming up from the Trail. I make so many friends and sure do miss them. But with my health problems we just had to close down as Beth was working way to much7 days a week. We hope some body will come along and continue to operate the place. So everyone have a terrific evening and God Bless and God Bless the USA.

Good evening from the Trail Inn Shuttle Service in Frostburg. Cloudy and threatening rain. Still warm for this time of year. Need to have cateracs operated on next month. Seems the operations don't quit. I will get better in2018. I am still upright and have a beautiful loving wife taking good care of me. So proud of her.
