Charlie's Motel is a quaint, small town motel nestled at the base of Big Savage Mountain in Historic Frostburg, Maryland. Most of our rooms are on the ground floor for easy access, and all of our rooms come equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and free Wifi. We have the Hurryback Tavern on premises that boasts a cozy pub atmosphere with video games, internet jukebox, skillpool table, regu

lation pool table and delicious bar snacks! Right across the street from a Laundromat, Sand Springs Steakhouse and Frostburg's own The 'Freeze' where you can get a burger and satisfy your sweet tooth with one of their ice cream creations! Walking distance to both casual and fine dining, shopping, train station and bike routes. Just one mile to Frostburg State University campus and a large, pristine community pool. Close to Hiking, Mountain Biking, Canal Path Biking, Canoeing, Rafting, Skiing, Snowboarding, Golfing, Swimming, Hunting, Arts and Live Music!

We here at Charlie's Motel and the Hurryback Tavern recognize that we have a responsibility to our community and the environment around us to do what we can to decrease our carbon footprint. Over the course of the last several years, we have installed large solar panels on our property, participated in a Energy Efficiency audit which resulted in a dramatic decrease in our energy consumption, initiated a comprehensive recycling program which includes both the motel and the on-site Tavern, and have made every effort to purchase only High Efficiency and Energy Star rated equipment and appliances. We are constantly on the lookout for new ways to decrease our impact on the environment and look forward to adding even more Green Initiatives in the future!
