With a heavy heart, we've decided to cancel Smoke on the Water: Pine Creek 2026.

This event has always been one of our favorites, but this year we need to focus on our health, our family, and keeping up with the day-to-day needs of the campground. As much as we wanted to make it happen, we know we can't give it the time and energy it deserves this year.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Smoke on the Water over the years—our competitors, campers, volunteers, and friends. Thank you for being part of it.

This isn't goodbye, just a pause. We look forward to bringing Smoke on the Water back in 2027.

We’ve had quite a few people asking about our Easter Egg Hunt this year 🐣

We won’t be hosting it in 2026, as Jess will be away this spring and she’s the one who typically brings these events to life.

We’re so grateful this has become a tradition for so many families—it means a lot—and we’re planning to bring it back next year 💛

That said, campground season is right around the corner. We’ll be opening April 1st, and the first day of trout season kicks off Saturday, April 4th 🎣

Fresh air, flowing water, early mornings on the creek… we’re looking forward to another great season in the PA Wilds.

For those that hung out with some tie dye today, thank you!

Allow the fabric to set for 6-8 hours or even longer for more vibrant colors. Rinse the fabric under cold water until the water runs clear. Wash the fabric separately in the washing machine on a hot cycle with a small amount of laundry soap. Dry the fabric separately, especially for the first few washes, to prevent dye transfer.

This holiday weekend, it’s not about big crowds or concerts — it’s about making memories together.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Saturday Afternoon – Scavenger Hunt
Check in at the office to join the fun!

2:00 PM Littles (ages 4–8)

2:30 PM Older Kids (ages 9–13)
Prizes for all participants, with a special prize for the first older kids back with the word CAMPFIRE!

🌌 Saturday Night – Glow & Movie Night

7:45 PM Glow Parade – light up the night with glow gear (provided!)

8:00 PM Outdoor Movie: Encanto + free popcorn 🍿
Bring your jammies, chairs, and blankets — it’ll be crisp (≈45°), perfect for snuggling under the stars.

✨ Family Stargazing
After the movie — or anytime this weekend — step outside your site, look up, and take in the night sky together. We’ll provide a Stargazing Guide with constellations, a star map, and apps you can use on your phone to explore as a family.

🎨 Sunday Afternoon – Tie-Dye Party

🛑 Let’s Talk Respect – PA WilderFest Rules to Keep It Safe, Fun & Fair for Everyone

PA WilderFest is all about community, music, and good vibes—but we’ve got some clear rules that help keep it that way:

🐾 Pets are welcome in the campground, but not in the festival field—we’ve got food and crowds, and it’s not the place for paws.

🚗 Speed limit is 5mph. That means golf carts, e-bikes, and vehicles. If you’re zooming around, you’ll be asked to leave.

🍻 No public drunkenness. Don’t be the reason the party ends early.
🚫 No drinking and driving—yes, that includes golf carts.

👣 Do not cut through other people’s sites. It’s rude. Don’t be that person.

🤐 Quiet time is 10PM. If you’re loud, obnoxious, or disturbing others, you’ll be asked to leave. “Don’t be an idiot” covers a lot of ground here. 😅

🎟️ EVERYONE on the campground Friday & Saturday must have a PA WilderFest wristband.
No exceptions. This includes friends who "just want to visit for an hour." Support the cause—it’s a charitable weekend benefitting Humble Bumble, and we take that seriously. 💛

Let’s have fun without drama. Follow the rules or head on out.
