Located in the beautiful foothills of Northern California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, Reverie Retreat has three yurts, a cottage, and a spectacular infinity pool from which you can see Mt. We are located approximately 8 miles north of Placerville, within an hour’s drive from Sacramento and a three hour drive from San Francisco. The property boasts stunning views to the west with spectacular sunsets and a full view of the night sky. At 2,200 feet in elevation Reverie has hot summers and mild winters, enabling a bountiful year-round garden and a multitude of fruit trees to flourish. We are within the El Dorado wine region and a five minute drive from the south fork of the American River. The air has turned crisp and the evenings are stretching out. Fall has a way of pulling two people a little closer. 🍂

Picture it. Coffee on the deck while the oaks below turn gold, then a slow walk on the trails with nowhere you need to be. As evening comes, the fire pit glows, and your soaking tub warms up. The sky shifts from amber to stars while the two of you lose track of time.

Whether you’re twenty minutes down the road or a few hours away, this is the season to come find each other again. 💕

C***r flights, apple donuts, and a little spooky season charm. This bakery and tap house in Camino is one of our go-to Apple Hill stops when the leaves start turning. On our last visit, we worked our way through Fool’s Gold and Cherry Seinfeld, and somehow a few donuts disappeared too. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, so bring your pup.

Another great Oktoberfest in Placerville put on by the Placerville Merchants on Main ...We had amazing food from John Sanders, amazing w**e from Cappelli W**e and Bubbles on Main. We hung out at our friends at Kitchen Goods On Main for some yummy snacks and mocktails and of course there was an amazing array of great b**r 🍺. Can’t forget some great music from Island of Black and White .. and thank you to The W**e Smith for the after party 🥨🍻🍷🎶.
