✨ Day 1: Arrive in Gardiner
Relax at Yellowstone Hot Springs, explore the Roosevelt Arch, and settle into your tipi before enjoying an evening campfire under Montana's big skies.
♨️ Day 2: Mammoth Hot Springs
Walk the stunning Mammoth Hot Springs terraces, visit Liberty Cap, explore the Fort Yellowstone Historic District, and hike to Upper & Lower Undine Falls.
🦬 Day 3: Lamar Valley
Spend the day searching for bison, wolves, bears, and pronghorn in Yellowstone's premier wildlife viewing area. Add in a hike to Trout Lake and enjoy some of the best scenery in the park.
🌋 Day 4: Geysers Day
Watch Old Faithful erupt, hike to the Grand Prismatic Overlook, explore Midway and Norris Geyser Basins, and stop at some northern Yellowstone gems on your way back to Gardiner.
🏕️ Where I Stayed
Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel was a comfortable and relaxing basecamp for exploring Yellowstone. The spacious tipi gave me plenty of room to spread out, the beds were comfortable after long days in the park and two weeks of camping, and the heated bathroom floors were a welcome surprise on chilly mornings. One of my favorite parts of the stay ended each day around the campfire with complimentary s'mores and drinks while swapping Yellowstone stories with other guests.
