Today I bought this small seat for children to sit on. Patty, who has long legs, sat on it and jokingly declared, “This is my seat now.” It looks so small that I wonder if it’s actually intended for pets like dogs or cats. It's quite a comical sight to see her perched on it, almost like a giant on a tiny throne!
In the meantime, it seems Patty has found her new favorite spot, regardless of its original purpose!

The joy and enthusiasm of the young fisherman were Smith Lake, reminding us all of the simple pleasures of spending time in nature. His accomplishment was not just about the fish he caught, but also about the memories made and the stories shared. Smith Lake once again proved to be a treasure trove of experiences.

I'm grateful for these incredible individuals, cousins of my father-in-law Orrin, who have been enriching our lives with their annual two-week summer visits for over 40 years. Despite facing challenges this year, their resilience inspires us, and our thoughts and prayers are with them as they continue to thrive.

These two amazing women, Debbra Anderson and Patty Wussow Warneke, transformed their summer home into a breathtaking haven, just like the two of them. Thank you for infusing the resort with beauty and joy, and I'm sure Chris and Tim played a wonderful supporting role.
