Check out what's happening at Fort Stevenson tomorrow, June 6th!

Join us at 2PM as we celebrate National Trails Day with an American Legion Walk supporting our veterans and su***de awareness. Guided walk starts at 2PM from the Visitor Center. Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, and water.

In honor of the United States Armed Forces, all military veterans and active-duty personnel will receive free admission to the park on June 6. We thank you for your service!

We’re off to a magical start with this year’s Evening Hike Series: Flower Moon Fairy Hike!

Thank you to everyone who braved the less than perfect weather and joined us last night. If you missed it, there’s one more chance to join the fun tonight!

This self-guided evening hike begins at the Visitor Center, with the trail illuminated from 9:30–10:30 PM. We hope to see you here!

Step into a little nighttime magic at Fort Stevenson State Park during our Evening Hike Series: Full Flower Fairy Moon Hike May 8–9!

Wander a softly lit trail from 9:30–10:30 PM on this self-guided hike beginning at the Visitor Center. Expect a glowing path, peaceful spring night vibes, and a touch of fairy-tale charm along the way.

A prescribed burn is planned at Fort Stevenson State Park today, April 30, to reduce the wildfire risk throughout the area and promote the restoration of the native prairie by removing old growth. If the weather remains favorable, the burn is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

We ask that any guests visiting the park today use caution by keeping a safe distance from fire crews working in the area. Thank you to our partners with the Garrison ND Fire Department for their assistance in executing and managing the prescribed burn.
