A little before-and-after from Blue Coat Cottage. ✨
When we purchased the cottage six years ago this month, it was hard to imagine fitting larger beds into some of these cozy 1910-era bedrooms. Over time, we’ve learned that with a little creativity—and the right furniture—you can make these spaces feel both charming and comfortable.
This is the first of several bedroom updates we’ll be making over the next few weeks. We started by upgrading from a full bed to a queen and adding new lighting, floating nightstands, and a few thoughtful touches to make the room feel more spacious and inviting.
Small changes can make a big difference. Stay tuned as we continue refreshing every bedroom throughout the cottage.
