💪🏻 YOU GUYS SHOWED UP IN A BIG WAY YESTERDAY 💪🏻

We’re still catching our breath after yesterday, and what a wildly unforgettable day it was at the Farnsworth House. Really, WOW, what a day! 😱🔥

From a packed Outdoor Garden 🌿 and a buzzing Sweney’s Tavern 🍻, to a record-setting day in our newly reorganized Antiques & Militaria Shop (seriously, you all kept us BUSY), the whole property was absolutely alive with activity!

And last night? 👀

Our tours were PACKED! 👣👻

We were especially thrilled to welcome an amazing, and very large, group into the Keeping Room Theater for “Doc” Brosie’s newly reimagined, improved, and reinvigorated Surgical Presentation: Saws, Scalpels, and Survival 🩺🩸

The response was so strong, we’re excited to say Doc’s program will now be added to our regular schedule both in the Keeping Room Theater, and depending on weather, at the “Surgeon’s Tent” in Camp Farnsworth! 🎉👏

And to everyone who braved last night’s storm… you deserve a medal 🌪️🌧️

The wind was giving full “somewhere over the rainbow and straight into Gettysburg” energy 🌈😅

We half expected to see a house, and a pair of ruby slippers come flying through town! 👠. Not to mention a wicked witch trying to steal our tour guests… 🧙‍♀️🚲

We can’t wait to see what the rest of this summer season brings ☀️

And if numbers like this keep coming in… we may have to double our storytellers just to keep up with the demand! 😳📣

And her daughter, her Jennie, was gone.
