Gettysburg’s Christmas Festival starts this Friday and we want to welcome everyone to our beautiful, historic town. We want you to know that some street closures will affect our Steinwehr Avenue parking lot entrances. You must enter through our Baltimore Street main parking lot entrance.

Street closures are as follows:

Affected streets
Lincoln Square: Southern Quads are closed.
Baltimore Street: From Lincoln Square to High Street.
Steinwehr Avenue: Between Baltimore Street and the Dobbin House, and between Queen Street and Culp Street.

Dates and times
The closures are in effect from December 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM to December 7, 2025, at 11:00 PM.

Roads will begin closing at 9AM on Thursday, December 4th, 2025.

ROAD CLOSURE: Lincoln Square and the north two blocks of Baltimore Street will be closed. Steinwehr Avenue between Queen and Culp Streets and between Baltimore Street and the Dobbin House will also be closed.

Dear guests today’s road closures in Gettysburg include a portion of Baltimore Street (between Breckenridge & South Street) due to moving filming from 4 P. M. today, October 9, through October 14, and lane restrictions on northbound Route 15 for infrastructure upgrades. Park roads are currently open, though visitors should check the National Military Park website for on future paving projects..

Baltimore Street in Gettysburg will be closed between South Street and Breckenridge Street from Oct. 9 - Oct. 14, according to the Gettysburg Foundation.
