UPDATE: Because the weather doesn’t seem to be clearing up tomorrow or next Wednesday Nature Day will be this Thursday July 11th. The weather looks perfect and not too hot!

Camp is two days away! There is still time to sign up your kids! It looks like there will be some rain so pack some extra rain gear (rubber boots, umbrella, raincoat) just in case. If the weather gets severe we will move Nature Day to July 17th. Parents/guardians will be notified on the morning of July 10th if we need to move the date to July 17th.

🌼New Shirt Alert! 🌼

After watching Jesus Revolution I got inspired to create a vintage shirt design. I loved seeing the rich history of the Jesus People Movement and I love that Christian camping has a rich history as well. This campaign will go toward setting up our tents and creating a whimsical and peaceful environment! We have some events coming up so stay tuned!

SLOWLY BUT SURELY! CAMP SLY FOX 2022 WRAP UP

People often ask about the progress of camp and I wanted to fill everyone in on what's been happening.

In July we had our first day camp! We don't have buildings yet but we made it happen! We had lots of nature crafts and lessons about Jesus and God's Kingdom. Cheryl Runyan of Dog is Good Dog Training brought her bloodhound, Jimmy to teach the kids about safety in the woods. There was a hike with our goats and the kids planted a butterfly garden! We learned a lot and hope to do it again next year!

This summer we were also honored to receive a donation from the kids at Millerton Wesleyan Church VBS. With their generous donation, we are working with Steel and Stoneworks to create an entry sign for the camp!

In June a wonderful neighbor started to timber some of the land. This has brought in funding that will enable us to start building glamping sights (similar to the tents pictured) for guests and campers in the Spring.

We are also working on a project for new housing so I can move over to the camp property hopefully next summer. This would allow me to move the horses, dogs, and goats over to the camp property in order to start having more programs during the year. This would also allow us to fulfill the dream of obtaining Highland cattle! Eventually, we will build an event lodge that will house animals and event space for groups.

I want to thank my wonderful board for their continued encouragement and insight and I want to thank our many local supporters who are always cheering us on!
