Roughly 20 working days, more than 1,000 trips up and down the stairs, countless laughs, and a few brief moments of questioning our life choices later, we are done and ready to welcome guests to The Flower Loft.

It has been so much fun having you all on this journey with us, and we cannot wait to share this beautiful space.

We are so grateful to everyone that helped us throughout this project and to each of you for encouraging us by following along and joining in our excitement!

This project gave Caleb O'Dell and I the opportunity to build something together, spend countless hours side by side, and create memories we will carry with us long after the renovations are forgotten. That time together was truly priceless!

The kitchen has come a long way.

From the first day of demolition to the final details, this space has been completely transformed. What was once one of the spaces that needed the most attention is now bright, welcoming, and full of character.

One of our favorite features is the cabinetry and shelving. Heritage Wood Mills was more than just a cabinet maker on this project. They were a valuable part of the design process, helping us think through ideas, refine the details, and create a kitchen that fits this space beautifully. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail brought warmth, character, and functionality to the heart of The Flower Loft.

We are so proud of what this space has become and hope every guest who walks through the door loves it as much as we do.

One of the biggest projects in the entire loft ended up being the smallest room.

The bathroom needed almost a complete overhaul. We gutted nearly everything, reconfigured the space a bit, updated the plumbing, and slowly started putting it all back together.

The only original piece still standing is the bathtub.

From where we started to where it is today, the transformation has been pretty incredible.

Today we snapped a quick picture as we locked up The Flower Loft and headed home.

The renovations are officially complete.

Since March, this project has filled our weekends. We have made more than 1,000 trips up and down the stairs, shared picnic lunches on the floor, tackled project after project, and spent countless hours bringing this space back to life. There were early mornings, late evenings, plenty of challenges, and a whole lot of hard work.

But more than that, it has been time together. Building something side by side. Solving problems, making decisions, dreaming about what this space could become, and watching it slowly come to life.

This beautiful old building has given us plenty of challenges along the way, but standing here today, it is hard to believe how far it has come.

The work may be finished, but the story of The Flower Loft is just beginning.

We cannot wait to welcome you through the door. We hope you will join us for our First Look on June 11th from 5-7 pm!

Some evenings just remind you why this place feels so special.

A quick walk down to the river overlook, sunshine reflecting across the water, and downtown glowing at the end of the day.

Then back to this beautiful building we have poured so much into these last few months.

The Flower Loft is becoming more than just a space to stay. It is becoming part of a town we truly love and can’t wait to share with you!!

We found the cutest little table for the living room at Uncle Orval's Basement LLC and it fit the space perfectly from the start. Check out the before and after photos!

All it needed was a little cleaning, my favorite wood cleaner, and a fresh coat of wax to bring the warmth and character back out.

We love filling The Flower Loft with pieces that feel collected, cozy, and full of charm.

A little refresh for one of the vanity pieces at The Flower Loft.

After some cleaning, a fresh update, and new k***s, it is starting to feel like the perfect mix of character and charm.

But what we love most is the story behind it.

I purchased this piece from the sweetest little lady who had owned it since she was a child. Over the years it traveled all across the United States, living in home after home along the way.

Now it has found its place here at The Flower Loft, and we love knowing it gets to continue its story in this space.

The bathroom at The Flower Loft has come a long way.

In the beginning we almost completely gutted the space and reconfigured it a little. Seeing it all starting to come back together feels pretty exciting.

We are not quite done yet, but we are getting so very close.
