Inn at Water's Edge The Inn at Water's Edge is a 6-room boutique hotel, open to the public and used for teaching hospitality students about the hotel industry.

The LEED certified 60,000 square-foot Culinary & Hospitality Center, located on the northeast side of the College of DuPage campus in Glen Ellyn, is home to a boutique hotel, the six-room Inn at Water’s Edge. Guests discover the comforts of a world-class boutique hotel in this six-room operation on the College of DuPage campus. From the eco-friendly design and the French doors overlooking a pond s

urrounded by a lavishly manicured landscape to the vaulted ceilings that allow the room to fill with natural light, guests will enjoy a peaceful stay at the Inn at Water’s Edge. Other featured amenities include luxurious bathroom touches such as walk-in marble showers and back-lit mirrors, wireless internet, a flatscreen TV, alarm clock/radio and more. Services include private keyed access to the hotel floor and rooms, a concierge lounge serving continental breakfast daily, staff offering luggage assistance and daily housekeeping services like nightly turndown service. The Inn at Water’s Edge is a professionally run establishment with opportunities for College of DuPage students to complete hands-on training in all service areas.

Do you know the story behind College of DuPage's Chaparral mascot? As legend has it, COD began as a college without land, campus, or classrooms. Professors traveled throughout DuPage County, using rented storefronts, church basements, and public parks as classrooms, carrying their books and materials in their cars and would “run” to their next lecture! We've created 'Chappy Chow,' a version of puppy chow made with elevated ingredients, fit for a bird's taste. Come stay with us and try it out!

We were honored to represent College of DuPage and Inn at Water’s Edge at the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association Gala! Our sweet table contained tahini and halva chocolate cake, lemon tarts, and carrot cake! Yum!
