Glen Rose is about to get a whole lot more exciting! 🐴 The EXCA World Finals are coming to The Expo at Glen Rose October 27 – November 1, bringing competitors from Israel, Belgium, Canada, Australia, and the US to put their horsemanship skills to the test - and the best part? It’s FREE for spectators the entire week. If you’ve never seen extreme cowboy competition up close, this is the one to catch. Starting Wednesday, you'll notice a lot more horse trailers in town as we prepare to host the Extreme Cowboy Association World Finals next week. Competitors from Israel, Belgium, Canada, Australia and the United States will put their horsemanship skills to the test through challenging obstacles on a timed course.

FREE admission for spectators throughout the entire event! Bring the family and help us welcome these competitors to Glen Rose!

With horse trailers arriving and traveling around town, please give drivers extra room to turn and maneuver, especially near the fuel pumps. A little patience goes a long way toward keeping everyone safe!

Did you know happy llamas hum? 🦙 It's true - and in 6 years at Country Woods Inn, Lupita has never once spit (the not-so-subtle sign of an unhappy llama). Instead, she spends her days laying by the fence, watching guests walk the Paluxy River trail, and humming away. We think she's onto something.
