Quick question for the group – help me build exactly what you want!
I’m planning a new off-grid camping spot in the Mohave Desert near Golden Valley, AZ (38 acres, max 15 sites total).
Each site would be:
• Your own fully-fenced 1-acre lot (no neighbors in sight)
• Private septic + 500 gal water cistern (filled for you)
• 20×30 shade structure + fire pit + horseshoes + trash service
• County-maintained road access, zero highway noise
• On-site camp host (me + two beagles)
Location perks:
• 20 min to quiet side of Lake Mohave
• 40 min to Grand Canyon Skywalk turn-off
• 30 min Kingman, 45 min Laughlin/Bullhead
• Propane fill 5 min away
• Hundreds of miles of government land UTV/ATV trials outside you gate
Two options I’m debating:
1. Basic (no solar – you run generator or your own panels)
2. Deluxe (+1000 W solar per site – enough for Starlink, microwave, no generator needed unless you run your AC)
What would you honestly pay per night for each version? Drop your answer below:
