What’s everyone’s thoughts on individually wrapped items or supplies designed to be thrown away at the end of each guest’s stay?
On the pro side, things like sponges or soap are guaranteed to be sanitary. Also, the person restocking can quickly switch out or replace used supplies.
Cons would include cost and waste. If a guest stays for one night and uses a bar of soap or the sponge it will have to get thrown away.
Currently, I’m using things like washable rags for kitchen cleaning, and refillable liquid soaps. I’d love input from anyone who’d like to share, even if you don’t care either way I’d like to hear that too.
