We'd like to introduce you to John & Delilah. The new owners and innkeepers of Carriage Corner Bed & Breakfast.

It is with a grateful heart that we have passed on the torch of caring for our lovely guests to this young family who are so excited to take it on.

Since taking over in October of 2016 we have welcomed almost 10,000 people through the doors. We have learned to meet your dietary requirements in a flavorful way.

So many of you have become dear friends and we're going to miss that most of all.

Know that John answers the phone most of the time and Delilah is in the kitchen, often with her little one nearby. Please, give John & Delilah a chance to help you have the best Lancaster County Vacation possible.

We miss you already - Jay & Gaylen

Please note that the previous owners, Jay and Gaylen, have officially retired from the B&B, and we are now managing all operations. We cannot wait to welcome you!

After a busy day of shopping, sight seeing, eating and maybe catching a show, why not relax and unwind in our screened gazebo?

It gets great breezes, is tucked into the trees and it's screened so the bugs don't get in!

It's already July, have you booked your summer escape to Amish Country yet? We can't wait to meet you.

When you plan your trip to Lancaster County, you'll want to take your photo with one of the iconic *Welcome to In*******se* signs.

We know where all three are and can help you find two within walking distance so you don't have to pull off the road to get the best picture. Only one of the signs has a safe pull out to get the picture.

And did you know that before the township found a better way to secure the sign that they were stolen about 3 times a year?

As funny as it is, would you want a Welcome to In*******se sign in *your* house?

Who.wants to play *spot the diffences* between the two photos?

Let me help. In the top photo, there are no 'boards' in the table and it's set for 4. In the bottom photo, all 4 boards are in and the table is set for 10.

Why? Because our absolute favorite part of a bed and breakfast is meeting people around the table.

That's why we serve breakfast to everyone at the same time. It's also why we take the boards in and out of the table.

I mean, you're not wrong when you say it would be a lot easier to leave all the boards in and all the chairs around the table. BUT doesn't it feel awkward to have a table for 10, but only 2 people at it?

Also, the other thing we do. When there is only 1 room occupied, we actually sit down and have breakfast with the guests. We have to eat too, and nobody comes to a bed and breakfast to eat alone. That's what hotels are for 😉

So that's why you might notice the table size change during your stay.

One of my absolute favorite things about living in Lancaster County is going for a walk and finding cows.

Beautiful cows, grazing in a field trying to decide if you're trustworthy or not. Recently, I stumbled upon this meadow of Scotish Highland Coos, they decided to come a little closer, but not too close.

Ehen you're driving the backroads around here, you just never know what you might find. It might be a hidden gem of a store, a quirky roadside stand selling flowers, homemade bread or root beer or it might be a field of sweet coos.

Summer is a great time to explore Lancaster County? What are you waiting for? Book your room at Carriage and head out to explore after a hearty, homemade breakfast.

We can't wait to meet you.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's. We are always happy to celebrate you.

We hope that:
• your day is exactly what you need;
• memories are being made if your children are still at home;
• your kids still call and text if they have families of their own;
• you don't have to cook today unless you want to; and
• you were able to enjoy a relaxed morning around our table.

It's mornings like these where friendships and memories are made.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your holiday.
