1. When do you open and close for the season? Our season is from May 15 - October 15.
2. What time is check-in and check-out? Check-in is 1 PM, and check-out is 11 AM. Early check-in may be available. Please text to see if your site is available early.
3. Do the sites have picnic tables and fire rings? Yes, all of our sites have picnic tables and fire rings.
4. Can I bring my own firewood? Firewood must be purchased locally. It is now illegal to bring firewood into the state of Maine (to prevent the spread of insects). Please do not transport firewood distances greater than 50 miles, even within Maine. We do sell firewood for your convenience.
5. Do you have wifi? Yes, we provide fast, free wifi. If you want faster, more consistent speeds, along with more security, we can provide a premium upgrade for $5/day.
6. Are you pet friendly? Yes, we welcome your pets. Pets need to remain leashed throughout our campground except while in the fenced dog park.
7. Do you have a bathhouse or laundry facilities? No, we do not have a bathhouse or laundry facilities.
8. What are the rules for being a dark sky campground? Only campfires and flashlights (preferably red light flashlights) are allowed after dark. This means no camper lights, outdoor TVs, tiki torches, etc after dark.
9. Do you offer any activities or events? And what are the costs? Yes, we have kayaks and SUPs for rent ($50/craft/outing). We also offer various events at our campground (costs vary per event). Check our Events Calendar on our website to see what is happening during your stay.
10. Can I fish at West Bay Acadia? Yes, you can fish in the bay at West Acadia. Anyone older than 16 is required to have a Maine State Fishing license. Shellfishing is not allowed in our bay.
11. Where can I get a lobster roll? We have 3 recommendations: The Knotty Lobster in Milbridge, The Hotdog Cart in Winter Harbor, and Lunch on the Wharf in Corea.
12. What is your typical weather? Spring and fall temps can range from 40's at night to the upper 60's during the day. Summer temperatures typically reach 60's at night and 80's during the day.
